About NUST NET
The NUST Entry Test (NET) is the university-specific admission test administered by the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) for its undergraduate programs. Unlike MDCAT or ECAT, NET is not a shared national test — it is set and conducted entirely by NUST and used only for admission to NUST’s own campuses and affiliated colleges.
How NET works
NUST typically offers NET across multiple series in an admission cycle, giving candidates more than one opportunity to attempt the test and improve their score. Test content depends on the degree program a candidate is applying for — engineering applicants are tested on subjects like Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, while candidates applying to business, social sciences, or other degree programs may face a different subject mix.
