Mean, Median, Mode, Range Calculator Guide
This tool gives all four common descriptive statistics at once.
How Each Measure Works
Mean is the average of all values. Median is the middle value when the data is sorted. Mode is the value that appears most often. Range is the difference between the highest and lowest value. Together they describe both the center and the spread of a data set.
Common Uses
Used heavily in statistics coursework, and useful anytime you need to summarize a list of numbers (test scores, prices, measurements) beyond just an average.
Important Note
Use sorted values if you want to manually compare the result.
