Area Calculator Guide
Switch shape types and calculate area without manual work.
How the Formulas Work
A square’s area is side x side, a rectangle is length x width, a triangle is half of base x height, and a circle is pi x radius squared. Getting the right shape formula matters more than the arithmetic itself, since using the wrong formula (like using diameter instead of radius for a circle) is the most common mistake.
Common Uses
Students use this for geometry homework, while others use it for practical jobs like estimating flooring, paint, tiling, or land area before buying materials.
Important Note
Circle area uses radius, while triangle uses base and height.
