HighTargets is a free, independent study site. It publishes checked Cambridge IELTS answer keys, practical IELTS guides, an MDCAT mock test, and scholarship guides, and it keeps each page focused on helping you check your work and take the next step.
Accuracy First
We prefer official notices, published marking schemes, and primary sources whenever they are available, and we would rather leave a gap than publish a guess.
Useful First
Pages are written to be helpful before ads load, with clear headings, working links, and direct next steps.
Correction Friendly
Students can report a wrong answer, a broken link, or an unclear explanation, and confirmed issues are fixed on the page.
Why HighTargets exists
Students preparing for IELTS spend most of their practice time on the Cambridge IELTS books, but marking a test properly is harder than it looks. Answers have to match the key exactly, word limits and spelling cost marks, and a raw score only becomes useful once you know which band it maps to. HighTargets was started to make that step fast and accurate, so the time goes into learning from mistakes rather than hunting for a reliable key.
What we publish
- Cambridge IELTS answer keys for Books 20 and 21, grouped by passage or part, with a hide-and-reveal mode and a score tool that estimates your band.
- IELTS guides that explain how band scores are calculated, how answers must be written, how to handle True/False/Not Given, and how to review a practice test.
- An MDCAT mock test with a timer, instant scoring and a full answer review.
- Scholarship guides covering the baseline documents and test scores that study-abroad applications check first.
How answers are checked
Answer keys are checked against the published answers before they go live, including accepted alternatives, optional words and "in either order" pairs. Every answer page shows the date it was last reviewed. When a student reports a possible mistake, the answer is checked again and the page is corrected if the report is confirmed. The editorial policy explains the full process.
The answer keys are a marking aid for students who already own the Cambridge books. HighTargets does not publish the reading passages, recordings, transcripts or question papers.
Independence and advertising
HighTargets is an independent resource. It is not affiliated with Cambridge University Press & Assessment, IELTS, the British Council, IDP, PMDC, or any university, and the official exam body remains the final source for exam rules. The site is free to use and is supported by advertising, which is always labelled and kept separate from the content. Advertisers have no say in what is published.
